Fucking delicious. Did our Goalie Corbeil REALLY just get a goal only 0:00 seconds into the game? How is this even possible? Is it a QMJHL stat-sheet error?

If it is not a stat-sheet error then the boy should be immortalized as a cookie - a cookie which shall be eaten by me. Right now. Because I am still at work and I am f'n starving.

Oh. The goal is now gone (it was that fast). Boooo. But, let it be known that for a brief period of time, on Thurs Dec 17*, 2009, Mathieu Corbeil, Mooseheads goaltender, was credited with a totally impossible goal.

Admittedly the Mooseheads are still in the QMJHL basement but they just got a raise and are planning on moving up to a fancy condo sometime very soon.

Veteran goaltender Mathieu Corbeil has once again taken home QMJHL defensive player of the week honours. In his past two games against the Wildcats and the Drakkar he had a 1.0 GAA and a 0.9714 save %, having made 68 saves on a combined 70 shots. This will definately put him in the running for CHL goaltender of the week.

Not only is MCT (and bonus props to Trapper) the Defensive player of the week but he is also Sportsnet's hot player of the week for the QMJHL.

The Mooseheads' resurgence is headlined by their veteran goaltender who captured the league's defensive player of the week honours last week. In his last two starts, Corbeil-Thérieault allowed just two goals on 70 shots for a sparkling .971 save percentage. Halifax is now riding an impressive four-game winning streak.

If we take a look at league goaltending stats we can see Mathieu clawing his way up through the rankings. Right now his 0.895 save % is just short of Olivier Roy's and OHHHHHH so close to 0.9%. A slow start has left his stats lagging, but in the past 10 games he actually has a 2.47 GAA and a 0.925 save%. Yes, 0.925%.

Locked in the trunk of a car

The Mooseheads had their first two games of the season this past weekend and I was neither willing nor energetic enough to report on either of them at the time. I was on a weekend mini-vacation and if the Moose can't give me that then they are selfish, selfish boys.

Moose vs Screagles:
I did spend Friday evening cuddled up with my boys (and my other real, more fleshy boyfriend) to watch the Moose take on the Screagles on Eastlink television. It was a spirited game with the Moose coming back from a severe deficit to pull up to CB's bumper. The score was 5-4 going into the final minute of the game. Then Michael Stinziani ruined their night by getting a hat trick when he directed the puck into an empty Mooseheads net. He did this from inside the CB blue line. Final score 6-4.

My concerns:
Too many breakaways for Cape Breton: I am getting tired of this. This is three years in a row where I feel like I am guaranteed to see the opposition have at least 5 breakaway shots on net every game.

Too many goals allowed: Losing is fine. I am OK with losing, but can we keep the goals against under 5. Yeah...that would be great.

The dark green numbers are almost impossible to see on the dark red background of the "away Jersey", and I am not even a colour blind male. If it was that difficult to see on TV I do not want to know how hard it will be to see on a streaming internet feed.

Not that I am about to start paying telus to watch these now. Yep, streaming internet feeds are no longer free. Thus, I shall no longer be writing semi-informative blogs about away games because I refuse to pay an extra $100+ dollars for the shitty and inconsistent feed.

Mon Cher:
1) Jessyko Bernard for getting that goal in the final minutes of the game to put the pressure on Cape Breton.

2) Cookies go to Charles Bety for being everywhere. Bety had a game high 9 shots on net (tied with CB's Stinziani), an assist and won 50% of his faceoffs.

3) The Mooseheads PP was better than in the preseason - 3/6 and their PK was better - allowing only 1/6.

4) The 'never say die' attitude displayed by the boys.

Moose vs Rocket:
The Mooseheads lost 7-4 as the result of a collapse in the end of the third period. What was all that off-season training for? Our love sessions require stamina. I will have no more of this shenanigans. I want tantric hockey.

Problems:
Penalties. Too many of 'em to deal with PEI's successful power play (yes it feels weird to type that). Linden Bahm spent 4 minutes in the sin bin alone. Did Gabe O'Connor tell him that they keep porno mags in there? Well they don't!!! Besides, the quality of porno magazines has declined vastly in recent years. Do you really want to see Heidi Montag get naked? She is no Sasha Grey.

Hitting was down. Why don't my team like to hit the Rocket? You can break their faces. I don't mind.

Meine Liebe:
Give Vanille Kipferls to Konrad Abeltshauser for a goal and an assist. His point production so far is making me feel funny in my nether regions and he is only 17 years old.

My love:
I went to pick up my season tickets and came face to face with three boys I like and am familiar with. This is a challenge on a team with 13 new players. Yes, Bernard, Bety and MacDonald were handling my section. *gasp Bernard*.

Bernard pawned me off on Alex MacDonald. Somehow I lived. I can't stay mad at Jessyko Bernard but what I can do is make Alex MacDonald an upper tier defenceman boyfriend. I am spiteful like that. Alex has his charms as well as a lot of hair for pulling.



If Alex really wants to give me a "special gift" (I suspect that my Mooseheads mug is not really that special since everybody received one) what he can do is line up the team in the following order: coaches, goalies, defence, defensive forwards, scoring forwards, and lastly, injured/ missing players*. He can then run past the group with his hand at face level to produce an elongated slap motion. Defensive, my ass! A slap is what they get for allowing 13 goals in the past two games.

I will just have to figure out how to deal with this 3 Alex situation. We have an Alexandre Brunet, an Alex MacDonald and an Alex Lemieux. I can't even call them Thing 1 and Thing 2. Oh I know I could call them Brunet, MacDonald and Lemieux but that would be far too easy.

The QMJHL players of the week have been announced. The offensive player of the week is...oh just guess. His initials are Y.R. he plays for Drummondville, he wins this award every week. The defensive player of the week is a small troll like goalie with douchey facial hair who makes fun of one of my favorite Moose. Whatever. Who cares?

What does matter is that Tomas Knotek was nominated for offensive player of the week. In four games he had 2 goals and 5 assists. Also, he looks like he was made by melding a bunch of elves together and placing them into a boy mold. He is totally spriggin'.

Cold team: Victoriaville Tigre - Playing in a division with two elite teams and missing their starting goaltender, Kevin Poulin, due to injury did little to stop the bleeding in Victoriaville. The Tigres lost all three games last week, including a shootout loss to the league's worst team, the Halifax Mooseheads. Victoriaville has not won since Jan. 31 as their losing streak sits at seven games.

Ha Ha - they lost to the Moose...ohhhhhh wait *pout*, my team is the still the worst in the league. Let's remedy that OK!

I could lick a goalie

Damn ex-boyfriends. They are doing things in the University game that none of my QMJHL boyfriends are doing lately.

Former Saint John Sea Dogs goaltender Travis Fullerton and his new UNB teammates shut out Acadia 5-0. Fullerton made 23 saves for his second shutout of the season.

According to the Daily Gleaner:

Travis Fullerton and the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds just keep on rolling.

The freshman goaltender turned in his second straight shutout and extended his string of shutout minutes to 194 minutes, 38 seconds with a 5-0 shutout of the Acadia Axemen in Atlantic University Sport Men's Hockey Conference action in Wolfville, N.S. Friday night.

Fullerton, who blanked the St. Thomas Tommies 8-0 in his last start, hasn't surrendered a goal since the second period of an 8-2 victory over the Dalhousie Tigers on Jan. 10.

Today UNB played Dal - Yeomans was in net, because UNB hates me and they just don't want Fullerton and I to be together; he and his stretchy skills, and me and my skills watching eyes - a match made in goalie peepers heaven.

It's about time Louis Boileau-Domingue

The Mooseheads faced off against the Moncton Wildcats tonight and lost by a score of 6-2. This was the final home game before X-mas. I have the DTs already.

Starting in nets for Moncton was their new baby goalie Louis Boileau-Domingue. I have been waiting all year for this. Louis faced 25 shots, allowing only two goals - both were tip-ins off of shots from the point by Justin Pender. Alexis Piette and Charles Bety had the goals for the Moose.

Louis is speedy and he never stops moving. He was not really challenged so I didn't get a chance to see what he can really do under pressure, but given that the only goals he allowed were tip-ins, that in itself is pretty admirable. This is Louis's third win of the season. He is not getting so many games (only 6 so far this year) but hopefully that will change in the second half.

The Moose played well in the first, getting both of our goals within 10 minutes. We came out of it up one goal, and then were a little dumb in the second allowing the wildcats to tie it up - when the Moose allowed yet another short handed goal... in the form of a break-away only a few seconds into our powerplay.

The third period however was a mess. It killed us. Four goals against! Merry X-mas to me. This loss is the coal in my X-mas stocking sock. Yes, I have been bad.

Moncton goals were scored by Lessard in the first, Brannon in the second (grrrrr), and Brown (x2), Cameron, and Lessard in the third. Brown (1) and Lessard (3) got some of those theoretical shiny stars for their hard effort and winning ways, as did Justin Pender.


Mathieu Corbeil takes the loss in nets for the Moose. This was, by far, not his best game, having allowed 6 goals in 33 shots. Ugh a 5-hole softie!!! Really Mathieu? Were you threatened and afraid that other young goalies would steal my heart? It is not unplausable. He does look like a fluffy baby chick...so very fluffy.

Supposedly, filling in for Yeti is a great learning experience for Corbeil. So this is him strutting his stuff, eh? Oi! Strangely enough, Dumaresque was not backing up Corbeil. The team had Yetman dressed even though he is still injured an hasn't skated for a week.


There was plenty of fun in fight form: O'Connor vs Sill (dreamy), Bona vs Boyle (ugh that hair - disgusting) and MacMillan vs Boyle (Logan made him bleed). For your entertainment may I present the Logan MacMillan strip tease (Courtesy of BelarusRikk).

Topsy turvy/ I feel pride

Last night the Halifax Mooseheads defeated the Moncton Wildcats in the shootout for a final score of 2-1. Yep you read that right. Going into last night's game the Moose were the second worst team in the league, the Cats were the second best...and yet ka-pow, a win.


I am glad they put Pender in the shootout and was not surprised that he got the goal. Fear on the part of the opposing goaltender alone should be enough get him the goal. No one wants to be hit by a puck coming off that slapshot.

No matter how much I currently hate to say this: props to Yetman for a 32 save performance, winning the 1st star, and his supposed "glove hand of larceny". I am also handing out props to Knotek for the goal in regulation and the shootout, as well as props to Charles Bety for the game winner in the shootout.

I missed most of the game, because it turns out I actually do have a life, and so I can't really comment on the game. I just hope the boys are feeling good about their win and can use the win and its momentum to blow the Titan out of the water on Sunday.

According to Willy Palov's article in today's issue of the Chronicle Herald:

The Mooseheads (9-18-1-1) went into the game as huge underdogs against the second-overall Wildcats (20-2-2-2). But thanks to some stellar goaltending from Mark Yetman and long stretches of mistake-free hockey, they managed to secure the unexpected win.

Yetman made 32 saves during 65 minutes of intense action and then stoned all but two of Moncton’s seven shooters in the showdown. Charles Bety notched the winner in the shootout on Halifax’s seventh shot.

"Mark was real solid," Russell said. "He didn’t get a lot of action in the first (period); I think they only had three shots on net. It’s tough for the goalie to stay involved when it’s like that but he stayed focused and was good all night.

"And he made a couple of big saves in the shootout, too."

Simon's quest

When Simon Despres was chosen to play for team Canada at the Memorial of Ivan Hlinka tournament, you just knew that he was going to immediately get a phone call from someone at the Saint John Newspaper the Telegraph Journal, and be forced to talk about it...and you KNOW that the Sea Dogs have already updated their website to brag about it. You also knew that being the crazy Simon lover that I am that I was going to post some of that story here in an attempt to make the whole world fall in love with him before they ever get to meet him. Don't worry, you will get to meet him next year at the NHL draft.


Here is a snippit from the Telegraph Journal article by Nathan White:

"I don't even realize I'm going to Europe tomorrow yet," Despres said by phone after being given the news and a bag of Team Canada apparel Tuesday evening. "I've never been overseas yet, I can't wait."

The six-foot-four, 210-pound rearguard said he started slowly when camp opened Saturday, but he felt he improved as camp went on.

"I didn't get to play with hitting competition in the summer (so) to get back into it was hard. "First practice, my skates were very sharp, I was always falling on the ice and my helmet was too small," said Despres, who prefers a duller skate blade. "I was questioning myself a little bit, but I knew it was going to come. I just played my game, a simple game, and didn't try to do too much."

...Team Canada head coach Bill Peters, who mans the bench for the Memorial Cup champion Spokane Chiefs of the WHL, has Despres penciled in as a top-four defenceman.

"He likes to join the rush and has offensive upside for sure. I consider him one of our defenceman who's going to play on the power play," Peters said. "I thought Simon got better as the week went along. He came in and was a big-body guy who moves really well and caught our attention right away."

Are you in love yet? He is 6'4", he is excited, he is falling down and he has a helmet that doesn't fit...these are the makings of the kind of boy you want to call your own and feed cookies to. There are more details available at the QMJHL website.

Hockey Canada News:
In the final scrimmage of the Canada under 18 prospect camp team Red defeated team White 5:3 to go undefeated in the tournament. Guess what else exciting happened today? Ol' Man Randell (Halifax Mooseheads) got a goal - wooooohoooo. If I was there I would have cheered just like that, or I would have given him golf claps because my Ol' Man and I are classy, classy people.

Steven Anthony of the Saint John Sea Dogs had an assist for team Red. With the close of their training camp Hockey Canada has decided which 22 players will be on the roster for the 2008 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka tournament. Sadly, neither of our Q goalies made the cut. If either Olivier or Maxime need cookies and a shoulder to cry on they know where they can find me.


This is where I go mental:
So who did make it? Sadly, not many of our Q boys survived the cut. Only two remain, one of which is my 'imaginary' and possibly impossible gigantic offspring Simon Bellavance-Despres (Sea Dogs), who is listed on Hockey Canada's website at 6'4", 210lbs (although a recent article in the Telegraph Journal put him at 6'3", 215lbs) . Awwww is my baby still growing? I will settle for nothing less than 6'5"!!! Every day he makes it more and more difficult for me to re-wombinate him.

I can picture myself as one of those crazy hockey parents. He probably made the team because my "other personality" called and threatened to kill someone from the selection committee. Simon's parents still have not signed any legal change of guardianship papers for me - what up Mrs Bellavance and Mr Despres?

I tells y'all - look at baby Simon - LOOK AT HIM - LOVE HIM (that is an order)!!! Now look at quasi- grown up Simon and his awesome eyebrows. Now, get in your kitchen and bake them both cookies - we must celebrate!!! Wait, did I just set the women's movement back 30 years? Does it help if I tell you that I will likely never marry, have real children or share a joint bank account?

Defenceman Hubert Labrie (Gatineau) also managed to get selected. It is quite unusual for two defencemen from the Q to be selected for an international tournament and yet we contribute no goalies or forwards - especially when we are a league known for the awesome power of our goalies and forwards.

In things I have just recently discovered news: former Quebec Remparts goaltender Kevin Desfosses was invited to the Ottawa Senators development camp, where the boys learned how to cook (now we know what was wrong with Ottawa this season). That camp was in June, thus I am a mental hobo and not very good at my fictional job of stalking goaltenders. Evidence that Desfosses was in Ottawa is available here.

I have a number of thing of no real importance to discuss.

1) Shut up Pierre McGuire
In a recent review of players at the Team Canada IIHF under 20 training camp Pierre had this to say about Yann Sauve: "Yann Sauve is a big defenceman with good mobility. What he needs to do is get a lot stronger."

What? Please define stronger. Is Pierre McGuire from Mars where the Martian definition of stronger means something completely different from our Earthican word stronger? That is the first time I have ever heard anyone suggest Yann must be stronger, let alone "a lot stronger". The boy is somewhere between 210 - 215 lbs of pure muscle (weight varies depending upon source). The two words you hear to describe Yann Sauve more than all others are probably big and strong.

Perhaps Pierre was drunk and could only recall his own visage in the mirror that morning and how exceedingly difficult it was to lift that damn razor.


2) Hotties
Yep the Hottie Hockey Dreamy Team is still below the cap and GMs W. A. Curl and I.M.W.G. Guys are still looking to select which centreman and right winger to sign before arbitration. Arbitration can get so damn messy.

To make the Hottie Hockey Dreamy Team selection process run even more smoothly the GMs have decided to call in an expert consultant known only as "polldaddy". Polldaddy ensures that you do not need to be a registered member of the NHLBA (NHL bloggers association) to vote. Voting is now anonymous...all you have to do is push a button. Even boys know how to do that!

Wait - none of my boyfriends knew how to do that. I kept showing them but it never quite sunk in.

I think I just realized that boys are stoopid. Stoopid but pretty. I keep them for the pretty but I need one that can push buttons - a tall, well toned, naughty boy with a porn 'stache who doesn't really have to be smart, he just has to be capable of skinner box reward learning. Push button, get treat! That's all I want.

Maybe it's my fault. I keep giving them treats because they are pretty, not because they pushed the button. They will never learn that way.


3) I have a Poll too?
Indeed I do. Look to your right - in the sidebar - then vote. I need a new Q boyfriend, and I have mad passions for goaltenders. Some would even call me a goalie whisperer.

So far Shawinigan netminder Timo Pielmeier is leading, but the Mooseheads potential backup goaltenders are nipping on his heels. I think Dumaresque is quite cookie worthy.


But what of Bobby Nadeau? Even though Bobby occasionally talks to the media, we personally have an all cuddle, no talk policy; which is why we are not discussing this. I look at my poll and I see that my #1 choice is clearly not the will of the people.

Oh, sweet, dreamy, edible Bobby Nadeau *nibbles* - even if you cannot be my #1 I will still want to sit in your lap and smell your fluffy pre-game hair. A girl wants what she wants. Will our relationship ever move beyond the cuddle phase? Do you know how to press buttons? Are you a quick learner?

Your hands were made for touchin' girls not for punchin' boys. I just thought everyone should know that. In fact, I think that most men, if given the choice, would prefer to use their hands for touchin' girls. Why did this have to rear its ugly head again? You have bigger things to think about right now...like stoppin' pucks, getting ready for next season, and our first date of 2008.

I know you are not a big boy - only 6'0" and 170 lbs but I like slim, well toned, guys. I don't like muscley guys with no necks - ewwww. I also like your blue eyes, your long pretty fingers, and your wonky smile - I am huge on wonky smiles (just ask Travis Fullerton). Maybe the people just need to see more pictures of you here and here and here and here and here (in red) . You are exceptionally cute when you are popping into frame. That made me quite happy. My skankspionage skills are unsurpassed.

Did I mention that you had the best GAA in the league for 2007-2008, and the fancy trophy it comes with? I like that too.

I like you and I am glad we threw the whole one date a year policy out the window, because frankly that sucked. You will never learn how to press buttons if you don't get a chance to practice. I just hope that this season our 4 dates do not coincide with my 4 AUS dates with Travis Fullerton. Then I will have two dates in one night. It would be like the standard plot of a poorly written slapstick comedy. Who would get the girl in the end? When it comes to goalies everyone knows how I roll!

With two boys I would hope that the chances of success are doubled. That's 4 eyes, 16 fingers and 4 thumbs. If two boys still can't find the damn button and learn to push it I'm going to quit boys for good...or work my way up to three boys.

Charles Lavigne is so good at the poke check (yes that is at least 3 poke checks in one shootout round)...maybe he can apply those skills to button pushing. hmmmmmmm.

Other Q News and Links

Antoine Tardif has been feeling fine. The former Bathurst goaltender, who was injured early in January and underwent ankle surgery during the offseason to correct a torn ligament, has gotten back on his skates. Tardif was officially traded to the Volts just prior to the QMJHL draft, and has recently been on ice practicing with Marco Marciano, goaltending coach of the Drummondville Voltigeurs.

Sadly, Marco's tenure with the QMHJL is almost at an end. Marco, former goaltending coach of the Screaming Eagles, and present coach with the Volts, will be joining hockey Canada before the start of next season.

The Tigres are turning me on. The La Nouvelle/ L'Union has posted some video from Victoriaville Tigres goaltending training sessions. There is more info on the Tigres goaltending situation here. I could watch goalies all day. I could honestly just sit there watching them deflecting puck after puck into the corner. Dear GOD it is so HAWT. The video even features a weird variation on the goalie mating dance - going into the butterfly and some lateral movement exercises.

I am all frisky now. Where is Travis Fullerton? I need satisfaction! I need him, his cross crease wiggle, and his naughty moustache right now! YOU *spank* ARE *spank* SUCH *spank* A *spank* NAUGHTY *spank* NAUGHTY *spank* NAUGHTY *spank* BOY *spank*. No, thinking about him totally did not help ease the frisk...it just made it worse.

Speaking of Sea Dogs, now that the Canadian IIHF under 20 training camp is complete it is time for the under 18 camp to begin. Sea Dogs Simon Despres and Steven Anthony are invited. According to an article published today in the Telegraph Journal, my favorite little-big defenceman Simon Despres (whom I want to kidnap in an attempt to re-wombinate him) now has 215 lbs on his 6'3" frame. This will make for exceptionally difficult re-wombinating considering that I am only 5'1 and 105 lbs. 17 year old Centreman Steven Anthony is currently weighing in at 208 lbs and is 6'2".

Did you notice that I have an extreme fascination with boys that are at least 1 foot taller than me? I just thought I would point that out. The taller the better!

What is, or has, gone down!

Late July is the time to think about volunteering. As such, some presumed Moose alums (Ryan Hillier and Andrew Bodnarchuk) are out and about volunteering their time. They spent yesterday at a daycare in Bedford playing floor hockey, and today at a daycare in Cole Harbour - probably playing more floor hockey.


Speaking of Mooseheads, our own Yuri Cheremetiev along with a number of other QMJHL players (such as Lewiston's Denis Reul) will be participating in the Chowder cup tournament. The Chowder cup is not the prize for a chowder eating tournament, nor is it the prize for a chowder making soup-off. If it were, I would be there as a soup sampler. It is a hockey thing, and because this is an American hockey thing I will leave all chowder related coverage to the Americans, so for more details on the Chowder cup check out the Asylum.

PEI has a small hockey league of its own - the Super Summer Hockey League, which is comprised of 4 teams with a number of QMJHL players from PEI, including Logan MacMillan, every Gallant boy that was ever spawned and half of the PEI Rocket (may be an overestimation). League Games run from July 23 to August 21.


NHL.com is doing a new prospects feature. The first feature discusses prospects from the Anaheim Ducks. They take a look at both the Mooseheads' Logan MacMillan and the Huskies' Maxime Macenauer. Speaking of which, where the hell is Huskies player Brett Morrison, Anaheim's 2007 5th round pick? Was he not invited to camp this year? Did Bryce so fully turn the Ducks off of kids from Cape Breton that they decided to take it out on my wee elvin sprig Brett? Anyway, enough about Brett, this is what they had to say about Logan:

It was a tough season for MacMillan, the son of former NHL forward Bobby MacMillan and the Ducks' first-round pick (No. 19) in 2007. "He got smoked from behind in an exhibition game last year and had a serious concussion," Murray said. "He never really got going until the end of the year."

MacMillan, who turned 19 on July 5, was limited to 46 games with Halifax of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and put up just 15 goals and 41 points. He was better in the playoffs, with three goals and 13 points in 15 games.

"He lost his confidence a little bit and he was struggling to score," Murray said. "But by the end of the year, he was playing hard again and playing well, the way he was the year before. The concussion set him back a bit, but he's been symptom-free for a long time now.

He's a really good two-way, hard-nosed hockey player who can play in all areas of the ice. The time he missed, he has to catch up on, but we really like him."

Sea Dogs:
The Sea Dogs have updated their website and now have a feature "Looking back on 07-08: Sea Dogs Community Summary Part 1" which Chronicles the Sea Dogs participation in community events, and the money raised by the Sea Dogs for various charitable causes from September to December of 2007. Yes there are pictures, albeit squishy - but this is easily remedied by "coping image location" and opening the images in a new window.

AHHHH Dogs - it ain't called the CHL (Cougarbait Hockey League) for nothing, and given the tender age of boys in this league you can begin your adventures in cougaring at the ripe old age of 22.

Fully looks like a skeazy hot mess (nothing new there). Even when he takes a bad picture he still somehow makes me feel molestey feelings. For that he must be punished, and so if I am not writing something that would make him feel uncomfortable (should he ever read this) then I am not very good at doing my job of punishing him. Are these faces that only a mother could love? This is not my team and yet I want to adopt them and hold them lovingly to my bosom. I like how they are all out in the community volunteering with cuts and scars all over their faces...all that is except for Yann, who always look perfect. As for the rest of the Dogs, I still love them despite their pimples, wounds, awkwardness etc. I hope next years Sea Dogs team has as much thrall as last years Sea Dogs team - they should, they are practically the same team, all but for 4 or 5 players.

Kirkpatrick, Despres and Charland have a "that dog has a puffy tail" effect on me. "Here puff! Here puff!". I'll be there watching hockey and the next thing I know I am giggling and clapping like an idiot because I saw Despres skate by. I am so mystically drawn to these three for reasons that I will not explain here. I think that all three are well deserving of cookies.
