Saint John Sea Dogs defeated the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 5-0. Fullerton had a shut-out despite facing 34 shots and having to kill off 7 penalties. What? He got a shut-out but was awarded no stars!!!
Despite the fact that he ONLY has 3 stars so far this series (yeah 3 whole stars in 4 games + a shutout and a 0.939 save % and 2.25 GAA) he still totally makes me want to be an entomologist-turned-bedroomologist. Such is the power of a very good goalie. My goalie loving femme-boner is so hard right now that it can only be eased by a trip to some place ripe with geriatrics.
Scott Howes had a hat trick for Saint John. Other goal scorers included Keven Charland (squee) and David Stich (who also had three assists). I am sure, despite having not yet watched the game, that Stich also has about 100 bruises to go with that 1 goal, 3 assists.
