Show me your Golden Puck

The Golden Puck Awards were held in Montreal this evening.
Player Recipients include:


Francis Paré of the Chicoutimi Saguenéens who received the Michel-Brière Trophy (QMJHL MVP).

Bobby Nadeau of the Chicoutimi Saguenéens won The Jacques-Plante Trophy for best goals-against-average.

Marc-André Bourdon of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies took home the Émile "Butch" Bouchard Trophy as the League’s best defenseman.

Mikhail Stefanovich of the Quebec Remparts was named the League’s top professional prospect (Michael-Bossy Trophy).

Chris Morehouse of the Moncton Wildcats won the Humanitarian of the Year award.

Robert Slaney of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles was the recipient of the Marcel-Robert Trophy, which honours the Scholastic Player of the Year.
Olivier Roy of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles was awarded the RDS Cup for Rookie of the year.
Mathieu Perreault of the Acadie-Bathurst Titan received the Jean-Béliveau Trophy for top point-getter.__________________________________________

I have discovered that Jamie McLennan (most recently of the Calgary Flames and everywhere else fame) is now playing in Japan and he has a personal blog as well as a blog for the hockey news. He is funny and so I am now madly in love. Oh Goalies.
